In addition to our current programs, Achaogen is actively pursuing additional approaches to defeating antibacterial resistance. Achaogen is seeking available technologies that address important medical needs in antibacterials, including: (1) late preclinical/early clinical compounds with Gram-negative spectrum; (2) novel targets with efficacy against resistant Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms; or (3) orally bioavailable compounds with efficacy against Gram-positive organisms.
