Achaogen has raised approximately $40 million to date in two rounds of venture capital from a group of experienced and highly successful life science investors, including 5 AM Ventures, ARCH Venture Partners, Domain Associates, Venrock, and Versant Ventures.

In addition, Achaogen has received grants and contracts contributing another $65 million to our scientific programs from a variety of sources, including most notably the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), to expand our research into pathogens of biodefense/biowarfare interest.

We continue to pursue additional non-dilutive financing opportunities and are committed to advancing our programs quickly and efficiently while securing a significant return on investment to our investors.
